Biography
Peire Vidal was a troubadour who was at the court of Raymond III of Tripoli in the months before the battle of Hattin in October 1187. Kevin Lewis proposes that the towns mentioned in Peire Vidal's song Ajostar e lassar suggest that Peire was in service with Raymond III during the latter's time in the kingdom of Jerusalem.
