Biography
Henry was a Burgundian lord and relative of the crusading dukes of Burgundy who is first attested in Iberia in around 1095. By that date he seems to have married Teresa, a daughter of Alfonso VI of Léon-Castille. Henry became lord of Coimbra, Braga, and Tordesillas and engaged in early crusade campaigns in Iberia as well as joining his relative Erik I of Denmark on crusade in 1103.
